At Promptlancers, we continuously refine our pricing and commission structure to ensure fairness, transparency, and sustainability for both freelancers and clients. Below is an outline of our latest fee and commission update under Phase 1.
1. Commission (Freelancers)
- Flat 15% commission on every completed project.
- Show breakdown on dashboard:“Project ₹10,000 → Platform Fee ₹1,500 → You Earn ₹8,500.”
- Make rate adjustable in admin settings (for future subscriptions).
2. Client Fees (Razorpay)
- Clients don’t pay a service fee, but they cover Razorpay’s transaction fee (≈ 2%).
- Example:“Project ₹10,000 → Client pays ₹10,200.”
- Show both values clearly before payment for full transparency.
3. Early User IDs (1–250)
- First 250 freelancers get an auto-assigned ID number (1–250).
